ACTOR TRAINING: Theatre Lovett at the Abbey Theatre - Posted 27.02.2013
Nicholas was recently chosen to attend Theatre Lovett's Actor Training workshop at The Abbey Theatre. It was a five-day practical workshop for professional actors led by the wonderful Louis Lovett. Its aim was to introduce actors to theatre making for both young and old. A fantastic workshop, which prepared the actor both physically and mentally for live performance. There were incredibly detailed chorus and voice exercises. Muireann Ahern gave a presentation on the European models of theatre practice for children and young audiences. The week-long workshop was a brilliant opportunity, unbelievably affordable and thoroughly rewarding. A wonderful collaboration between Theatre Lovett and The Abbey Theatre and long may this winning relationship last.
